This was an experience we won't be forgetting in a hurry. We have been so excited to share our bras with you, and it was such a joy to be able to do just that as thebasicb attended it's first baby expo in Auckland from the 8th to the 9th of October.
On the Friday night, thebasicb team arrived in Auckland from Kerikeri to set up our stall for the following two days. The atmosphere was amazing and we couldn't wait for the next day to come so we could meet our new customers and share our collection with new and expecting mums from across New Zealand.
The first day of the event was a fun experience, one that we would gladly do again! We came across many women who were eager to test out our bras. They all absolutely loved them. We even had a request from a customer that we take some photos of her wearing them to show others!
The second day brought just as much fun and encouragement filled with new customers, and new connections with industry professionals.
We were overwhelmed by the positive and open feedback that we got from so many lovely ladies, each and every one of them told us that they would be coming back for more!
When we started thebasicb, we had no idea how much of an impact it would have on so many people. We were just a couple who wanted to fix a problem we experienced in the world of maternity and nursing lingerie. Even now, days after our first ever expo, despite being totally exhausted, we're still thinking about all of the positive interactions with new customers!
For us, the most important thing about going to these events is that we meet real people - actual, in-person customers who are just like us and you. Their feedback is invaluable and it's always so wonderful to speak with people who took the time out of their day to tell us what they honestly think about our product. We learned a lot from this experience and are more confident than ever to continue on our journey.
